Girl Who Never Cried !

There was a little girl in a little known town who never cried
Everyone wondered why she never cried
The news of the young girl who never cried spread far & wide
There came many a well known doctors and philosophers who examined her keenly but none could come up with a theory

The girl however wondered why was it so important to cry?
She secretly felt people envied her
Nothing to lose nothing to gain Life is a happy ride she sang

People ridiculed her,
Exclaimed she was under a spell
Or was she cursed at birth?
Someone in the little known town also suggested she be stoned to get the demons out of her soul

Years went by and old people grew older, some dead some on the threshold
And the little girl who never cried was not so little anymore she grew into a charming young woman
But still she hears whispers of people discussing how she has never cried
She wonders though will she ever.

Then that day when the winds blew a little more wildly than normal
Came a handsome young man in the little known town
Girls gasped, the boys were curious

This handsome young man was a storyteller
He told stories of places and people far and wide
Men and women of this little known town spoke at length on the merits of the young man
The young man won hearts, also melted a few

One day the girl who never cried and the storyteller were passing by a little field
The young man saw the girl and asked those accompanying him "is that the same girl who has never cried?"
The young man ran towards the girl pushed her onto the field hurting her foot,
She shouted with pain and angrily looked at the young man,
"You didn't cry" said the young man.
"Why did you push me?" said the girl who never cried
"I was curious." said the young man
"You've hurt me bad."
"Stay away you rude, rude man" warned the girl who never cried, the young man stood ashamed.

The young man, the storyteller spent his days and evenings secretly watching her
On few occassions he even gathered courage to apologise
But the girl just ran at the sight of him
Everyday without fail he went to all the places he would find her.
She ignored but expected him to be there

As days went by and the storyteller grew more and more restless
More and more wanting to be forgiven
More and more determined to his heart's desire

One day he waited near the store where the girl came everyday to sell her produce
He stopped her on the way,
Held her hand.
She resisted,
He then grabbed her
Lifted her up
And ran towards the same field,
She shouted, punched him
Once there he begged her to forgive him.
On seeing the look in his eyes, she said "I forgave long back".

He then rushed her into his arms and kissed her lips.
And love blossomed.

The young man, the storyteller and the girl who never cried were the envy of the little known town.
The storyteller still heard whispers of how the girl of his dreams had never cried.
Secretly deep in his heart he wished, she never does.

And then came the day when the storyteller had to leave
Leave, in search of another story

Days and months passed
The girl who never cried lost her smile
She waited and waited and waited
As the hopes grew dimmer, her heart grew weaker

And then one day she ran to the same field
Weak in her body she fell
And then she cried, loud cries that would break the most hardest of hearts
She cried and cried.

People of the little known town have been heard saying, "perhaps she was just another story in the young storyteller's kitty. But he gave the young girl a reason to cry."

The little known town now tells the tale of a young woman who never cried until she fell in love....

You !

I saw you in a dream or you felt like one?

I wished you in my arms or you were in my arms?

I spoke to you all-night in my head or were you there?

I danced and wished you were watching, would you?

I cried in my silence and wished you notice, did you?

I miss and wonder if you do, do you?
